I don't have red dupioni silk any more. In Japan choices of dunioni is very small. It might be because we have KIMONO and still it is prefered in formal occasion. I have chosen a different colour of dupioni.

それほど違和感はないように思いますが、どうでしょうか?
It's not so bad, isn't it?

Hideko, maybe put your last block in the middle so the lack of red isn't so obvious.Or do you have some red ribbon to add to it?
Aren't you good making 4 blocks for your wallhanging.
Just a thought, but I'm with Jo here. In the middle, the block will pick up the SRE roses and the embroidered leaf on the heart block.
Thank you very much for both of your kind advice. But still I am hesitating. This is a wallhanging of DYB blocks originally. I don't like to put my mere extra block in the center. To me Jo's block should be there from the first time because of its weight. I am thinking alternative solution. I'll try that.
