December's ATC /Season's Greetings

今年も１年間、毎月ＣＱＩで、その月に誕生日を迎える人のためにＡＴＣのカードを作って送ってきました。この１２月に作ったカードです。何といってもクリスマスらしい雰囲気に。誰に送るかは１月早々にくじ引きで決まります。

Three ATCs for April

いつも１５日にその月のCQIニュースレターを出しますが、それに間に合わせて今月も”お誕生日おめでとう”のATCを作りました。一枚がやっとということが多いのですが、今月は三枚も作りました。

Birthday ATCs

実はちょっと前が誕生日でした。何歳？と聞かれて答えた数が、後で考えたら一つ多かったというくらいに最近、数字が滅茶苦茶で我ながら心配です。そんな私にカナダのダイアンが送ってくれた可愛いATC(Artist Trading Card　名刺サイズのカード）です。今さら誕生日なんて、と思いつつもこういうサプライズはうれしいものです。

My Birthday was a while ago in this month. When I was asked my age, I answered one over. My husband was very anxious with that. Anyway, I received a lovely atc (Artist Trading Card) from Diane M in Canada. What a pleasant suprise it was! Thanks, Diane.




そういえば昨年の夏から、CQIメンバーのために毎月バースデイATCを一枚作って、月末に抽選して送ってきました。ニュースレターの他にしているささやかな仕事です。

I've been making a birthday atc monthly since last August for CQI members. It's only one so I always have to do a draw at the end of the month.

スクラップの布や残り糸、余りレースなどを使って作っています。出来上がりは満足できないときもありますが、「まあ今月はこれで」という感じで、あまり気負わずに作ることにしています。

今月のカードは誰にいくことになるのでしょう？もちろん抽選から私は除きます。

ATCと文庫カバー ATCs and a Bookcover

片づけをしていたら出てきた端切れを使い切ってしまいたいくて、小さなものをいくつか作りました。ATC（アーティストトレィディング・カードの略です。名刺がわりに交換しますので、サイズもその大きさです。）３枚と文庫カバーができました。ステッチに使う糸の色で表情が変わります。

タグ交換 Tag Swap

以前、タグ交換のために私が作ったタグを載せましたが、私の手元に届いたものはまだ紹介していませんでした。
とても可愛いので、お見せしたいと思います。

オランダのコビから。
From Cobi in the Netherland.



アメリカのペギーから。

ニュージーランドのジョーから。

一つずつですと、色の違いしかわからないと思いますが、実は大きさもそれぞれに違います。コビのものは大きなスーツケース、ペギーのはショッピングバッグ、ジョーのはハンドバッグにと、使い分けができそうです。
They are not only in variety in colour but also in size.

ATCs/ 女の子の好きなもの Girl's Favorites

簡単な刺繍モチーフを入れたＡＴＣを作りました。”女の子の好きなもの”です。
I've stitched simple motifs for these ATCs. They are all girl's favorites.






ボタンホールの上に、後で鈎針で縁レースを編みつけようかどうしようか、迷っています。
I am thinking to crochet edgings later.

今日は、前にタグ用にブルーの布を接いだものをいじっていたら、ＡＴＣになってしまいました。

タグ Tag Swap

４月、アメリカのゲイルのタグの作り方がクレージーキルトのオンラインの雑誌に紹介され、ＣＱＩでは早速タグ交換が企画されました。小さい可愛いものはすぐできるし楽しいと思い参加を決めていました。完成した最初のタグをお見せします。
Today I've finished my first tag for the CQI swap.

小さなブロックはとりあえずたくさん作りました。今日できあがったのは左下のものです。


ファンシーヤーンを使ってポピーのイメージを作ろうと計画。


レースの上にはバラの垣根。


左下の空いたスペースはどうしたらいいか考えつかず、サインがわり。海外の人には漢字も面白いだろうと思って。
The Chinese character is from my name.


これが出来上がり。6.5cm x 11cm です。あと二つ、仕上げます。

The Meme

I have been tagged by Leslie and Pat. I was tagged for the same meme six months ago. Here's the link I wrote something about me. I think it has circled the whole in our cq/stitching world after a half year. Isn't it interesting? Do you think it's a big circle or a small circle?

先日、紫のブロックを作ったときの裁ち落としのハギレで、ＡＴＣを２枚作りました。
