6 Picture Meme

リンが６にまつわる写真を見せ合う、というゲームに私のブログも選んでくれました。自分のコンピューターの写真アルバムの６番目のフォルダーの６番目にどういう写真が入っているか、という偶然性だけに依拠したゲームです。自分でも覚えていませんから、フム、何があるのかと行ってみました。写真によっては止めておこうと思ったのですが、問題はなさそうでしたのでご紹介します。

私のアルバムのフォルダー６は”イメージ”で、ヴィクトリアンの画像、陶磁器の写真などのフォルダーの後、Ｎｏ６はアートで、ネットのあちこちから拾ってきたポスターや絵画の写真が入っています。その中の６番目はこういうポスター写真です。対なので、ついでに７番目もお見せします。いかにも日本なのが面白くて入れたのを思い出しました。誰の作品だと思いますか？（元々下にサインが入っているのですが、今日は消させていただきました。）作者を当てて下さい。（賞品はありませんが）コメントをどうぞ。

Lynn Gaskill has tagged me for 6 Picture Meme. Thanks Lyn, I am so honored. I am expected to show you the 6th picture of 6th folder out of my PC albumn. So here's mine. My 6th folder is "Images" and 6th subfolder is "Arts" and this is the 6th pic in it. It's one of pair, so I'll show you another(the 7th) too. I picked up them from some site on the net before. They looked like so Japanese I was interested in. Now I've deleted the signature of artist. Who do you think he/she is? Guess and comment. I'll tell you the name in my next post.

旅行前の最後の投稿です。”仕事場拝見”というテーマで、パットにつかまってしまいました。でも旅行前だから良かったのかも。片付いていますから。日本の主婦はみな、リビングのどこかが仕事場ですよね。私も例にもれず、すべてリビングでしています。
Pat has tagged me to show you my workspace. I am working everything in our living room.

パソコンのコーナーです。メールも翻訳もここです。横にダイニングテーブルがあるのですが、そこが本やプリントの山になっていることもよくあることで。
This place is my PC corner.

リビングの延長のサンルームがクレージーの仕事場です。右に積んであるプラスチックケースの中は布です。
I usually using this space for my crazy quilting. You would see some plastic cases of fabrics.

テーブルの上にはピンクッションと、はんぱな刺繍糸やレースやリボンの残りが山になった箱。掃除していて落ちていたビーズを見つけたときもここに。

キャスターつきのキャビネット二つの上にはやりかけのものが山積み。左のかごの中には飾りが終わってつないでもらうのを待っているＤＹＢのブロックや、送られてきたＲＲなど、これからしなければならないものたちです。
On the cabinet there are lots of present projects in progress.


たとえば引き出しの一つはこんなふうになっています。ここの糸の奥にはチャームが詰め込んであります。ステッチのための糸がやたら多くて、この種の糸だけの引き出しがあと二つはあります。

でも本当はまだまだあるのです。十年どころか、もっと長い間に集まってしまった私の宝物です。
But of course these are not all of my treasures. I am hiding more in every secret places; in sweet cans, in boxes, in drawers and etc.

7 Things about Me

I have been tagged by Elizabeth Z for the "7 Things about Me". This time I am expected to write 7 things about me. Is there anything I would interest you?

1, When I was small, I was so shy I couldn't speak anything at school for a year. I didn't answer teacher's checking attendance, couldn't read textbook, only answered questions by writing on the blackboard or papers when required. Nobody heard my voice in the classroom. But after school I was always playing with my brother and boys outdoor.
2, I am a bookworm. Still I buy lots of books, more than I read.
3, I learned how to crochet at six but how to embroider at forty-six.
4, I am a claustrophobic. I don't like to take a seat between two people. And I hate a flight. Thinking about being closed in air for hours makes me feel sick.
5, I can live without television programms but videofilms.
6, I have been married for 32 years and have two sons and a daughter. My daughter is now studying machine knitting in Notthingham, England. Now she's is very busy in her final year.
7, I love to be at home much better than going out. But it doesn't mean I love household. I love to be at home sometimes alone best.
