ウールのクレージーキルト All Wool DYB
久しぶりにＣＱＩのＤＹＢラウンドロビンに参加することにしました。ウールの布を使ったクレージーキルトというので、挑戦してみたいと思いました。ウールは厚手ですので、ブロックを接ぐのに少し注意がいります。ツイードはほつれやすいので手縫いではなくミシンで、フラノなどのほつれにくい厚地は断ち切りで手で細かくまつり縫いでかがる、というようなことですが、要は接ぎ目をできるだけステッチをかけやすい状態にかつほつれにくい状態にするということです。

oh Hideko, those are so awesome. I love them. They are a perfect pallet of color. WOW stunning. I am so excited to watch these turn into pieces of beautiful art.

Beautiful blocks Hideko and wool fabric is so nice to work on. I have my Wisp quilt all from wool fabrics.Only, it goes very slow, there are so much other things to do ;)

Your wool blocks are beautiful, a lovely mix of patterns and colors. I especially like the gray patch with the dark roses!
