Artist DYB RR/ Gerry's Block

You can see Gerry's six naked blocks on her blog. Here's the naked block I chose.

A girl of the print reminds me Frances Hodgson Burnett's books I loved in my childhood, though of course she is not Sara of "A Little Princess" (because she had black hair), nor Cedric of "Little Lord Fauntleroy" (he is a boy) and also not Mary of "The Secret Garden". But I took my first impression and made a world of three stories.

Now finished.

I hope Gerry like my work.

Hideko, this is so lovely. I love the little mansion and walkway with tree leading up to it. Everything is so petite and perfectly stitched. I know Gerry loves it (so do I). Gorgeous work, as always. Hugs, Cathy
