CQIバッグコンテスト2008 CQI Purse Contest 2008/ Ati's Baggie

Now I show you what I worked last month, as the CQI Purse Contest 2008 finished yesterday. We had to keep our works in secret until then.

I used a baggie from Ati, Norway I received in January. She is my swap sister from another group in this year.
Here's her whole baggie. I loved her choice so much, I decided to use all stuffs there and added the least of mine.

I made two blocks; pieced fabrics, embellished motifs and trims, used yarns, and stitched seams with threads, from her baggie.

You can see what, where, how I used them here.

I finished into a practical tote bag.

I missed the prize but isn't it the happiest thing I've completed a work of the whole baggie from my oversea sister? Ati, I hope you like my purse.

Hi Hideko, As I said on the flickr page: you have made a beautiful bag from the first baggie!
So useful, you will get a lot of comments when you are shopping with it , I guess. I noticed the materials on the purse contest, I voted for the bag, but it didn't help much ;)

You made a wonderful bag and that is with the content of only Ati's baggie. That's great.

Thank you very much for your kind words, Ati and Anne. I think this bag is not bad. I love it. I am very glad both of you do so, too.

It is a beautiful bag Hideko and a prize in itself.

Well done using the birthday baggie alone.
