First Buttonhole Stitches

With the DYOB block, we were called buttonhole stitches for the first time.
This seems to be very basic though it was not so easy for me to do even because stitching length and angle are subtly changed.

I've added forget-me-not flowers.

This is also a basic up-and-down buttonhole stitch.

Again I've added a colour.

Hideko-San,
You work is just beautiful as always. I am settling into my new home in Gaum -- I am almost back in Asia -- and getting ready to start a new blog to replace http://needle-lil-more-time.blogspot.com that I accidentally sent to an early grave. I'll let you know when it is up. Matta ne! Debbie R.
