旅行中のお買い物 Shopping

I stayed in London the first and last day of my trip. Whenever I have time, I go to V&A Museum. I don't know the reason but English modern sculptures interested me this time.

The right work was made by Henry Moore as a copy of the Rennaisance relief in 1922, when he was still an art student. I was a bit impressed by his realistic work. Every artist has stages in his/her life.

Dalou's "Peasant Woman Nursing a Baby" (1873).

I bought these buttons and charms in the Museum shop. I tend to buy something small for CQ.

This is a main street in Guildford, 30 minutes from London by train. We(my family)lived here in 1990. I often went to a hand craft shop on this street.

I was suprised by the show window of shop when I found lots of "Japanese air" there.

I wonder these cross stitch kits are made because Japanese animations and Nintendo's game softwares are so popular all over the world now.

Here I bought lots of embriodery threads of Caron Collections and Anchor.

Pat Brooke drove me from Buckingham to Milton Keyney for shopping, where a large shopping mall is. She explained me the city was built after the War very artificially.

The shopping mall was too huge, I couldn't look into all the shop. I bought some goods at the John Lewis, which was at the nearest end of the mall.
